We’re looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Lettings & Tenancy Co-Ordinator to join our busy team in Bushey Heath. This is a key role within our lettings operation, acting as the bridge between our New Business and Property Management teams to ensure a smooth and seamless tenancy journey for both landlords and tenants. From progressing applications and references through to coordinating move-ins and ensuring properties are ready for occupation, you’ll play an integral part in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage the tenancy progression process from offer agreed through to move-in.
- Open and maintain accurate property and tenancy files.
- Submit, monitor and follow up tenant referencing applications.
- Keep landlords, tenants and colleagues informed of progress throughout the tenancy journey.
- Coordinate pre-tenancy repairs, maintenance and property preparation to ensure homes are ready for occupation.
- Ensure all tenancy agreements, terms and conditions and supporting documentation are completed accurately and signed where required.
- Liaise with third-party referencing providers, contractors and industry software providers to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Assist with arranging inventories, key management, meter readings and other move-in requirements.
- Respond professionally and efficiently to landlord and tenant enquiries.
- Ensure all lettings and property management systems are maintained with accurate and up-to-date information.
- Monitor and ensure compliance requirements and property certification obligations are met.
- Identify opportunities to promote rent protection products and explain their benefits to landlords.
- Support invoice processing, record keeping and general administrative tasks.
- Conduct occasional property inspections and accompany approved contractors when required.
- Work closely with colleagues across all departments to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications
