About the role
Where great homes meet great relationships. Do you get a genuine buzz from keeping things running smoothly, solving problems before they escalate, and making people feel looked after? If you’re passionate about property and thrive in a role where no two days are the same, this could be your next move. We’re looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join our friendly, professional residential lettings team in Bushey.
As part of the Property Management team, you’ll help to care for a shared portfolio of homes — supporting landlords, reassuring tenants, and making sure every property is managed to the highest standard. This is a role with real purpose. You won’t just manage properties — you’ll help people feel at home.
You’ll be involved in every stage of the property management journey, including:
- Day-to-day property management of a varied residential portfolio, ensuring homes are safe, compliant, and well maintained
- Building strong relationships with landlords and tenants, responding promptly and professionally to queries or concerns
- Coordinating maintenance — instructing contractors, overseeing works and carrying out property visits, making sure issues are resolved efficiently and to a high standard
- Managing contractors and suppliers, developing trusted relationships that keep everything running smoothly
- Handling financial administration, including rent collection, reporting, rent guarantees and claims
- Ensuring full compliance with all statutory and safety regulations
- Managing renewals and terminations, including inspections, deposits, dilapidations and dispute resolution
You’ll already have experience in residential property management and a solid understanding of lettings processes. Just as importantly, you’ll genuinely care about delivering an excellent experience.
You’ll thrive in this role if you are:
- Professional, calm, and customer-focused
- Confident communicating on the phone and in person
- Naturally organised, with the ability to juggle priorities and deadlines
- A proactive problem-solver who enjoys finding practical solutions
- Comfortable dealing with maintenance issues, safety certificates, and statutory notices (including Section 8’s & 21’s)
A full driving licence and your own vehicle are essential. An ARLA qualification would be a bonus, but not a deal-breaker.
Because this is more than a job — it’s a chance to be part of a supportive, close-knit team where your contribution truly matters. You’ll gain hands-on exposure across all areas of property management, develop your skills, and play a key role in maintaining homes people love living in.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your property career and want to work somewhere that values relationships as much as results, we’d love to hear from you.
