CCHA is currently looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a fixed-term contract until 31st May 2029, based in Carlisle, Newcastle or Workington. The role is 36.25 hours per week, with a salary of £44,867 – £47,784 (FTE based on 36.25 hours per week) plus benefits.
Role Overview
As a Finance Business Partner, you will act as a key link between the Finance team and business decision makers. You will provide valuable financial advice, challenge and support, strategic insight and business solutions, delivering real‑time support and analysis to be a trusted adviser and add value for effective decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct real‑time financial analysis and support decision‑making.
- Deliver and assess management accounts, budgets and financial statements.
- Extract reports and provide analytical analysis in user‑friendly formats.
- Drive and implement changes to improve performance or systems.
- Maintain and develop good relations with internal customers.
Qualifications
- Educated to A Level standard or equivalent, with AAT or similar at Level 4.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience delivering and assessing management accounts, budgets and financial statements.
- Experience extracting reports and providing analytical analysis for end users.
- Experience driving and implementing performance or system improvements.
- Motivational and inspirational leadership ability.
