Job Overview

Position: Receptionist
Employer: Castlereagh Borough Council
Location: Irish Linen Centre & Lisburn Museum

Contract: Fixed Term – 12 months with possibility of extension

Salary: Scale 3, NJC Spinal Column Points 7‑9 (£26,403 – £27,254 per annum pro rata, plus 19% employer pension contribution)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver customer service at the reception desk and by telephone
  • Operate the computerised booking/cash system
  • Sell shop stock, issue receipts and manage related transactions
  • Maintain information databases
  • Direct museum visitors and other users through the facility
  • Perform any other tasks required to support the Leisure & Community Wellbeing department
