Location: Lough Moss Leisure Centre plus other council facilities for operational requirements

Salary: S01, NJC Spinal Column Points 25 - 27, £36,363 - £38,220 per annum

The Postholder Will Be Responsible For:

  • Organising and assisting the organisation of sporting events across the LCCC area, ensuring the Sport, Health & Wellbeing Unit resources and services are delivered efficiently and effectively while striving at all times for continuous improvement and transformation of services.
  • Deputising for the Sports Development Officer as and when required, and assuming duties relevant to the post as determined by the Director or Head of Service.
  • Developing strong relationships with partner organisations and relevant stakeholders to promote outcome-focused, community-centred services, to maximise corporate and community planning outcomes and to generate innovation in service delivery.
  • Developing the effective, efficient and economic staging of sports and physical activity events.
