GROUP, SCHOOL & EXPERIENCE BOOKINGS

  • Monitor the Lakes Aquarium Membership scheme.
  • Process new and renewal Annual Pass memberships including the production of photo ID cards and inputting details onto the till.
  • During busy periods, process new and renewal memberships at the till point.
  • Assist in implementation of the Annual Pass strategy, including promoting and marketing the memberships themselves as well as all their additional benefits.
  • Schedule social media posts on a weekly basis paying attention to detail with information and captions.
  • Create engaging and compelling content with good quality images and videos to attract customers.
  • Follow current trends and work with the Display team in an efficient manner to create content.
  • Create content that aligns with the park guidelines.
  • Assist in seeking new opportunities for promotions and sales to local tourist information centres, tourist attractions, hotels, coach operators and other external organizations.
  • With the MM develop a calendar of activity to maintain regular contact with current pre-paid ticket agents to ensure contact details are always up-to-date and the parks/hotels are informed of school holiday news and events.
  • In the absence of the MPRM, accompany internal media visits and ensure all are dealt with in a professional, informative and friendly manner.
  • If required, assist with Lakes Aquarium photoshoots ensuring all external visitors are dealt with in a professional and friendly manner whilst maintaining our commitment to the welfare of our creatures.
  • Assist in the hosting of onsite PR events when necessary.
  • Liaise with the media and third party organizations to arrange promotions and competitions and provide copy and images where necessary.
  • Assist the MM with research and content for the annual marketing strategy.
  • Suggest new ideas for attracting visitors to the Lakes Aquarium.
  • Assist in the implementation of initiatives in line with the marketing strategy in order to achieve the annual visitor budget.
  • Assist in the database development on a regular basis relating to group visits (education, coach and other groups) and marketing contacts and key stakeholders.
  • Update lists of visitors' email addresses and postcodes for future e-marketing purposes.
  • If required, co-ordinate the planning and preparation of events and corporate functions held at the park.
  • Support the online presence (website and social media platforms) by providing content, including images and videos.
  • Monitor the on-site use and storage of all print and marketing related material (including leaflets, visitor maps and kids quiz trails) - keeping accurate stock records at all times.
  • General administration duties including dealing with postal and telephone enquiries, written and verbal communication, digital filing, scanning and general office administration.
  • Occasionally assist admissions and retails on the tills.
  • Responsible for promoting the Real Live Leisure policies of quality customer care - ensuring a courteous, efficient and helpful service to all groups, schools and visitors at all times.
  • Perform any other reasonable duty as required by the MPRM and UK Director, in accordance with the needs of the business.
  • Handle confidential information with care and not pass it to any third party.
