Our forestry operation comprises approximately 5,000 acres of mixed commercial woodlands. We are committed to responsible land management and a holistic approach to our forestry enterprise and are looking for a Forestry Craftsperson to join our fantastic in‑house estate team.
About The Role
Based on the estate, this role is varied and wide‑ranging and will include:
- Tree Planting
- Chemical Spraying
- Chainsaw work
- Forestry tractor operations
- Fence Maintenance
- Bandsaw operations
- Preparation of fencing materials
- General estate and forestry work
This role is a permanent, 40‑hour per week position – Monday to Friday, 07:30‑16:30.

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable individual. Punctuality and the ability to work well in a team are essential, as is an enthusiasm for outside work. While chainsaw and spraying tickets would be advantageous, along with any other relevant qualifications such as First Aid +F or other forestry or arboriculture‑related qualifications, training can be provided for the right candidate to fill any skills gaps.
