Key Responsibilities:
The post is part of our Care & Repair department, who offer key services and/or support to enable older people, those with disabilities and/or long term health conditions to remain living in their home as independently as possible in accordance with the Association's policies, good practice and relevant legislation.
This post is being offered on a fixed term basis, until 31st August 2027.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide front line Customer Services support to the Care & Repair service and provide comprehensive administrative support to maintain the running of the service.
The post holder will be expected to:
- Answer telephone enquiries in a professional manner, adapting approach and providing initial advice or assistance or referring to the correct member of Care & Repair staff.
- Provide advice and assistance using judgement and knowledge of Care & Repair policies and procedures and using problem solving skills.
- Record referrals for case work on database for officers to action.
- Process small repairs appointments and issue Works Orders in accordance with current office guidelines.
- Contact external contractors to organise work on behalf of clients who require additional support and/or financial assistance.
About you:
You will be educated to National 5 level or equivalent with relevant qualifications in Maths and English, you will have experience of providing front line customer services using a variety of methods and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams. You will have the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, be flexible and be accustomed to working as part of a team.

- Contract: Please note this is a fixed term temporary post to 31 Aug 2027
- Salary: Starting salary is £28,329 . This salary is a Grade 4 (£28,329 to £31,477)
- Flexible Working: Flexitime and remote working for eligible posts
- Pension: A defined contribution pension scheme with start contribution rate of 5% employee contribution and 10% employer contribution.
- Probation Period: A six month probation period applies to all new employees
