At Castlegate and Derwent Surgery we care for 18,000 patients from our modern, purpose-built surgery inside Cockermouth Hospital. Youβll be working in bright, well-equipped clinical rooms alongside a supportive, welcoming multi-disciplinary team.

We have both full and part-time onsite positions available for GPs and will provide high-quality primary care services, diagnose and treat patients across various medical conditions, and provide family medicine and preventative care. Responsibilities include:
- Consultation with patients
- Management of chronic illnesses
- Performing general health assessments
- Ensuring a high standard of patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Medicine, Primary Care, and Family Medicine
- Strong ability to provide comprehensive medical assessments and care
- Effective communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- Registration with the relevant medical council and an MBBS or equivalent degree
- Commitment to continuous professional development and multidisciplinary teamwork
What we can offer you:
- Competitive salary from Β£11K per session (higher depending on experience)
