Castleforge Partners is a pan-European real estate investment and asset management firm managing capital on behalf of leading institutional investors across the US, Europe and Asia. We currently manage approximately Β£1.5bn of assets across the office, residential, datacentre and hospitality sectors.
We are seeking an Analyst to join our Investments team in London. This is an entry-level role (0β2 years' experience) and represents an outstanding opportunity for a highly capable individual to begin their career in real estate private equity within a high-performing and intellectually rigorous team.
Our analysts are fundamental to how Castleforge operates. From day one, you will be closely involved in investment analysis, asset management decision-making and strategic thinking, working directly with senior team members and partners.
The RoleAs an Analyst, you will support the evaluation, execution and management of real estate investments across the firm's strategies. Responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining financial models to analyse new acquisitions, refinancings and asset management initiatives
- Supporting due diligence processes, including analysis of financial, market and technical information and engagement with external advisors
- Assisting in the preparation of investment committee materials and internal memoranda
- Tracking business plan performance, key value drivers, timelines and budgets across the portfolio
- Supporting asset and portfolio-level valuations using historic and forward-looking data
- Updating internal models and reporting tools for both investment and asset management purposes
- Coordinating data and analysis across investment, asset management, finance and operating partners
This role offers significant exposure across the full investment lifecycle and demands both analytical rigour and sound judgement.
Candidate ProfileWe are looking for individuals with exceptional intellectual curiosity, strong qualitative judgement and clear communication skills, alongside technical capability. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- A strong academic record
- 0β2 years of relevant experience (including internships, placements or graduate roles) in banking, real estate, consulting or a similarly analytical environment
- The ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Strong financial intuition and a desire to develop best-in-class modelling skills
- High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word (or the aptitude to become so quickly)
- A collaborative mindset and a strong sense of responsibility
- Meticulous attention to detail combined with the ability to think laterally and commercially
- An ability to multi-task and work in a very fast-paced and team-oriented environment
