We have a fantastic opportunity for a People Services Administrator to join our supportive and friendly People Services team at the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group. It is a fast‑paced environment where you will learn something new every day. If you have strong organisational skills and are committed to providing an excellent customer service, as well as being a strong team player, curious and able to use your own initiative to manage your work and solve problems, then this is a great opportunity to join a professional and dedicated team.
As a HR / People Services Administrator, your duties will extend across a range of administration tasks such as:
- Preparing documentation
- Recruitment pre‑employment checks, as well as assisting with the whole recruitment and selection process
- Processing new starters and leavers
- Updating and maintaining the HR system and records
- Responding to general HR queries from managers and staff
As a HR / People Services Administrator, you should have:
- GCSE grade A*–C / 9–4 in English and Maths as a minimum or equivalent
- Experience of working as part of a team delivering a customer focused service
- Experience of working in a Human Resources administration environment would be an advantage but is not essential
You should also be able to demonstrate:
- Competence in administration processes and procedures, along with high levels of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
- Confident in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office packages
- Time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work as part of a team to meet team priorities as well as the ability to work on your own initiative and find solutions
