Castlefield is delighted to be supporting a Healthcare client with the appointment of motivated Clinical Team Lead to join their Surgical Services Team. This is a great opportunity for someone to support a busy team and grow into a hands-on leadership role. You will work closely with senior leadership to help coordinate day-to-day operations and support the wider team in delivering safe, effective, and patient-focused care.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the smooth running of pre-assessment and surgical services across sites
- Provide day-to-day guidance and support to nursing and administrative teams
- Help maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and experience
- Assist with service improvements, audits, and compliance with clinical guidelines
- Contribute to rota coordination, capacity planning, and patient flow, including reducing delays
About You
- Registered healthcare professional
- Experience within pre-assessment settings
- Some team leadership or senior staff experience (formal management experience desirable but not essential)
- Strong communication, organisation, and IT skills
- A proactive, team-focused approach with a commitment to quality care
