Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Housing Advisor for a housing association based in South Manchester. The role is interim initially 6 - 8 weeks, paying £19 - £21 per hour umbrella, and offers hybrid working opportunities after training.

The role includes:

  • Assessing Social Housing applications and assisting with the allocation of homes to successful applicants.
  • Providing and delivering an efficient and effective administrative service and front line customer service across housing services.
  • Providing a front line housing management service, ensuring support to officers within the housing service teams.

The person should have:

  • Experience of working within social housing.
  • Able to deal with difficult customer queries/complaints and diffuse situations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
