Castlefield Recruitment are assisting an industry recognised organisation in Yorkshire who are seeking to add a Strategic Finance Business Partner to their team on an interim basis (12-month fixed term contract). This opportunity will see the successful candidate join a very supportive and high functioning team who are in the midst of a very busy period and require someone with strong financial acumen and business partnering skills to help guide them through it.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional who is seeking a role where they will be able to add real value to an organisation and be offered a dynamic role that will add plenty of variety. The successful candidate will receive an excellent salary c. £62,000 - £65,000 (DOE) and a brilliant benefits package including above average annual leave allowance and industry leading pension.
The role:
- Work closely with divisional leaders to ensure an effective financial service and facilitate financial decision making in line with greater strategy.
- Be the leading point of contact bringing strong financial advice for business units, performing monthly management accounting and supporting non-financial colleagues with financial planning.
- Act as the lead on the production of the organisations five-year financial plan.
- Take the lead on a range of financial projects.
- Develop strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders including board members and divisional leaders.
The person:
- You will have a CCAB qualification and extensive experience in an Accountant role.
- Advanced IT skills comprising Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint and SAP or equivalent.
- Be able to work strategically in line with senior management to deliver financial support and strategic planning.
- Be able to demonstrate effective written and presentation skills, with an ability to produce concise and meaningful reports.
