Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting an Income Officer for a housing association based in Manchester. The role is on an initial 7 month contract until the end of the year. The role offers flexible working hours and pays £25.35 an hour via umbrella agency.
The role:
- Implementation of day to day action in respect of management of the association’s rental income
- Advising on the benefit entitlement and assistance with benefit claims
- Operation of arrears control in accordance with the association’s policies and procedures
- Monitoring of payment received and highlight variation from amounts in agreement with tenant
- Informing tenant of breach, negotiation correction or referral for further action as required
- Represent the association in court as required
The person:
- Experience of income management or debt recovery in a social housing environment
- Knowledge of welfare benefits
- Excellent customer service skills
