Castlefield Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a highly reputable and progressive Not for Profit organisation to recruit a Rents Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to add value to a growing organisation during a period of positive change.
Duties:
- To deliver the annual rent budget and the annual rent review uplift process ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- To provide finance support on rent for the Group, building positive relationships with internal customers across the Group, providing accurate and timely financial information, guidance and support.
- To manage the Finance Rent team ensuring accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial information within the rent accounting function.
- To support the Financial Accounting Lead in the development and maintenance of an efficient and effective accountancy function for the Group.
- To maintain and update the Group on the Rent Policy and procedures ensuring compliance with relevant regulation and good practice are observed.
- To contribute to the overall delivery of accountancy services and to make a proactive contribution to developing and improving services provided.
The person:
- Experience in managing a rent team within a social housing environment.
- Track record in delivering operational service for rents.
