Quality Assurance Analyst
IT Team | Permanent | 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday
Salary: £35,000 – £37,000 per annum (depending on experience)
4 Days Onsite, 1 Remote
We are excited to be working with a leading organisation in their search for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join their dynamic IT team. About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless changes to technology systems while maintaining high-quality standards. You will work closely with stakeholders, including development teams and Technology Business Partners, to oversee change implementation and ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, document, and manage change requests related to technology systems and applications.
- Conduct risk and impact analyses to identify potential challenges associated with changes.
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts to detect and resolve defects.
- Monitor and report on testing progress, document results, and facilitate issue resolution.
- Maintain detailed documentation for change management processes and quality assurance activities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies related to change and quality management.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess change effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate with business users, development teams, and stakeholders to provide updates on change initiatives and quality assurance activities.
- Offer training and support to colleagues on best practices in change management and quality assurance.
The Ideal Candidate
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in change management and quality assurance within an IT environment.
- Strong background in managing change requests and executing quality assurance processes.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Familiarity with change management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and project management principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with change management tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor\’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of technologies relevant to the retail industry is advantageous.
