Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a public sector organisation to recruit for a Commercial Practitioner on a permanent basis in Nottinghamshire.
Starting salary of £43,000 rising to £47,000. Hybrid working - 2 days a week on-site.
The role:
- Develop and manage effective procurement strategies.
- Lead procurement activities, including those requiring compliance with Public Contract Regulations, Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and the development and implementation of Framework Agreements.
- Collaborate and influence across the Commercial team and with internal and external stakeholders to provide expert procurement advice and guidance that supports successful project delivery.
- Work proactively alongside contract owners to ensure procurement strategies are effectively executed, achieving value for money through the application of best practice principles.
- Apply relevant policies to deliver efficient and effective procurement and commercial support, offering guidance and expertise to meet organisational needs.
