Castlefield Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a highly prestigious organisation, who are seeking to appoint a Payroll Supervisor to join their Finance division. This position is a hybrid position of 2 days working from home, with a range of extensive benefits including 30 days holiday plus bank holiday plus closure over Christmas and a generous benefit pension scheme.

Duties will include:

  • Assist with the monthly payroll reconciliation, ensuring accurate data is provided to financial services to update the general ledger.
  • Provide support to managers and employees on the scheme operation, acting as the first point of contact for more complex queries that cannot be handled by the team.
  • Prepare and deliver Payroll and Pensions related training activities as required.
  • Check payroll input and output for accuracy and redress any discrepancies before the payroll is finalised.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant HMRC legislation and statutory codes of practice, as advised.

Person:

  • Uses own initiative and works independently to solve problems.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel required.
  • Experience using accounting software.
