Castlefield Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a highly regarded Independent Hospital to recruit a Oculoplastic Nurse on a permanent basis at their main site in North London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist, patient‑centred organisation that is committed to delivering outstanding care and investing in its clinical teams. The post is 37.5 hours per week (Day case work only) Salary Range from: £39,782 per annum subject to experience, alongside an excellent benefits package, ongoing professional development opportunities, and the chance to make a meaningful impact within a supportive and forward‑thinking clinical environment.
We are seeking an exceptional Cosmetic Oculoplastic Practice Nurse who shares an unwavering commitment to precision, discretion, and delivering an outstanding patient experience. This is a rare opportunity to join a world‑class clinical team where patient care and meticulous attention to detail are at the heart of everything they do. You will guide patients through every stage of their journey — from initial consultation to surgery and recovery — providing reassurance, education, and compassionate support throughout.
In addition to this highly patient‑focused role, you will contribute to the organisation’s digital presence. Social media plays an integral part in connecting with and attracting new patients. You will help represent the consultant’s work and the hospital’s values online — capturing the artistry, precision, and care that define the practice, while inspiring confidence in prospective patients. Working closely with the consultant surgeon, you will ensure every patient journey reflects the highest standards of clinical excellence, discretion, and personalised care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional pre‑and post‑operative patient care within a clinical environment
- Support the consultant during consultations and procedures, maintaining the highest levels of professionalism and discretion
- Act as a dedicated point of contact for patients, ensuring continuity and comfort throughout their journey
- Provide clear and detailed patient education, fostering trust and understanding at every stage
- Contribute to social media content creation, showcasing results, expertise, and patient care with sensitivity and professionalism
- Maintain impeccable clinical documentation and uphold the highest standards of safety, ethics, and confidentiality
Requirements:
- NMC registered Nurse Band 5/6 level experience, or an experienced Band 5 ready to step up
- Cosmetic or plastics experience, ideally within eye/oculoplastic services (not essential)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
- Passion for delivering an outstanding patient experience
