Castlefield Recruitment is excited to be partnering with Home Group to recruit two Senior Procurement Managers. These roles fall within the Asset Safety & Facilities Management and the Repairs and Maintenance categories. The roles would suit public or private sector candidates with industry experience such as manufacturing and construction.
- Develop and implement category strategies and tender processes for high-value, complex spend areas to drive efficiency, maximise value, and ensure full compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Provide expert procurement support to stakeholders at all levels across Home Group, helping to secure best value when procuring goods, services, and works, in line with relevant procurement legislation.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships, driving performance, continuous improvement, and innovation through effective collaboration and performance management.
- Play a key role in advancing the Procurement team’s ambition to deliver a ‘Best in Class’ service, contributing to process improvements and embedding best practice.
- Collaborate with suppliers and influence stakeholders to implement procurement strategies, adapting to evolving market conditions and business needs.
- Lead on contract management activities, including the drafting, negotiation, and review of contracts, ensuring adherence to public sector regulations and risk mitigation standards.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis, including financial reviews, benefit realisation reporting, supplier performance assessment, and comprehensive market, product, and supplier research to inform strategic decisions.
Public sector procurement experience would be advantageous.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in motivating and developing high-performing teams.
Expertise in contract management, including negotiation, performance monitoring, and compliance.
Ability to liaise with and present to a vast range of stakeholders.
