Job Description
Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Neighbourhood Assistant for a housing association based in Merseyside. The role is an initial 2 month interim contract and paying £17 – £19 per hour via umbrella agency and offers flexible hybrid working after initial training. Please note the hiring manager is looking for someone who has worked in Social Housing before and can start as soon as possible.
The role:
- Be the first point of contact for any housing related queries
- Support the delivery of housing and compliance services, including building and estates maintenance
- Provide additional support to tenants when required to help sustain tenancies
- Conduct health and safety checks and risk assessments
The person:
- Experience of working within social housing
- Good understanding of rent processes
- Able to deal with difficult customer queries/complaints and diffuse situations
- Excellent communication skills
