The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Multi-skilled approach to engineering with each hospital site having 1-2 Static Building Engineers, supported by small teams of Mobile Building Engineers (East and West areas). The Engineering Team is supported by an FM contract which provides a Helpdesk service. Reactive jobs are processed via a PDA to Building Engineers.
Mobile Building Engineers are required to provide support across reactive and PPM; electrical, mechanical, plumbing, heating/air ventilation and building tasks for numerous Primary and Secondary Care facilities.
Duties include:
- Ensuring all teams' PPM and repairs are carried out as necessary in line with Contract SLA.
- Safely operating and maintaining the HVAC, HV, L8, Mechanical and Electrical systems and associated equipment on site.
- Maintaining a good working relationship with site representatives.
- Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Viewing and issuing Permits to Work.
- Adhering to Safe systems of work, including harness, lanyards, steps and tool checks.
- Ensuring all E-logbooks are kept up to date.
- Ordering parts for any reactive or planned works.
