Assistant Accountant - Tax | Permanent |up to £35,000 | Merseyside
Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a public sector organisation in Merseyside in order to appoint a Tax Assistant Accountant to their growing and busy team. The role will offer hybrid working as well as other excellent employee benefits.
Duties will include:
- Producing accurate data for VAT, CIS and corporation tax returns
- Assisting with tac compliance for the organisation – VAT, CIS and corporation tax
- Assisting with submitting annual tax computations
- Living and working with wider team to provide accurate tax advice
- Impacting and implementing continuous improvement to financial controls, policies and procedures
The successful candidate:
- Experience working in a Tax position previously is essential (minimum 2 years)
- Experience working within public sector is highly desirable (Charity, Local Government, NHS, Education, Not-for-profit, Social Housing)
- Part-qualified, AAT or equivalent
