Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting an Interim Decarbonisation Project Lead for a housing association based in Greater Manchester, for an approximate 3-6 month period, paying a day rate of £400 - £500 per day. Office attendance will be required at least 2-3 days per week.
The role:
- Deliver a programme of new initiatives including carbon reduction, damp and mould prevention and property improvement
- Manage programmes of decarbonisation and retrofit works including cavity wall insulation, heating control systems, roof extraction, and air source heat pumps
- Manage contractor and consultant performance, ensuring projects are delivered to timescales and within budget, ensuring value for money
- Develop project action plans and ensure work programme progression
- Lead on the preparation of bids for SHDF funding
What you need:
- Experience delivering decarbonisation and retrofit projects in a domestic setting, ideally social housing
- Experience of developing and progressing action plans, and managing contractor performance
- Experience of compiling bids for grant funding
- Excellent people management skills
