The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

  • Support and improve colleague safety and provide assurance that the health and safety management system is meeting its legal requirements and that risk controls are in place and effective

  • Deliver colleague safety training programmes, supporting and advising colleagues in your area and auditing to a schedule in order to monitor and analyse the performance of the health and safety management system

  • Develop an audit system that can be used to ensure that health and safety risks are controlled and customer and colleague safety is ensured

  • Assist the Group Health and Safety Manager in investigation of accidents and incidents and making recommendations where improvement action is required

  • Chair local meetings to discuss health and safety issues, lessons learned and actions required

  • NEBOSH NATIONAL general certificate

  • Sound knowledge of current UK health and safety legislative and regulatory requirements

  • Experience of internal auditing or auditing in a variety of health and safety fields

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use

  • Housing background would be beneficial but not essential
