Castlefield are working on behalf of a diverse public sector organisation within West Yorkshire who are seeking a Finance Business Partner on an interim basis. This client is providing a crucial service that impacts the community in a positive manner. This would be the ideal role for someone with some experience in public sector finance that possesses the ability to adapt quickly and add value to a new role. They are currently operating a hybrid working policy with 2 days working from home.
The role:
- Provide a comprehensive and professional financial support service to support stakeholders at all levels to make informed decisions
- Develop good working relationships with colleagues to support the delivery of financial services
- Monitoring expenditure against budgets and work closely with budget holders
- Provide training and issue understandable guidance manuals relating to budget management and control
- Advise on the revenue and capital impacts of projects
The candidate:
- You will hold a CCAB qualification (CIMA/ACA/ACCA/CIPFA) or be studying towards
- You will possess experience of operating within a public sector organisation
- You will possess high levels of report writing and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills will be advantageous
