We are looking to speak with both experienced Expert Witnesses and experienced healthcare professionals who are interested in developing a career within the medico-legal sector.
Our clients are well-established providers of expert witness services and are looking to expand their teams due to continued growth.
We are particularly interested in professionals with experience in: Paediatrics Brain Injury Spinal Injury Complex Case Management Tissue viability Visual impairment Polytrauma The Role As an Associate Expert Witness, you will provide independent, objective expert reports for medico-legal cases on behalf of solicitors, insurers and other legal professionals.
These opportunities offer flexible, self-employed work, allowing you to choose the volume of cases you undertake while working alongside your existing clinical role or portfolio career.
About You To be considered, you should have: A professional background in Occupational Therapy, Nursing or Physiotherapy.
Current HCPC or NMC registration (where applicable).
Significant post-registration clinical experience within your specialist field.
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, evidence-based reports.
For Experienced Expert Witnesses You should also have: Relevant Expert Witness training (e. g.
Bond Solon or equivalent).
A thorough understanding of CPR Part 35, Practice Direction 35 and current Expert Witness guidance.
Previous experience preparing Expert Witness reports (preferred).
Clinicians New to Expert Witness Work If you are an experienced clinician looking to move into the medico-legal sector, we'd still love to hear from you.
Several of our clients can provide training and support to help you develop as an Expert Witness.
