Decontamination Technician

Decontamination Specialist, Yorkshire, £25 – £31 per hour (Mon – Fri)

Client:

We are looking for an interim Decontamination Specialist in Yorkshire. You will join the maintenance team with excellent exposure to Senior Managers within the organisation.

Role:

• Carry out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, testing and validation on all decontamination equipment to ensure devices for invasive procedures are decontaminated in compliance with Health & Safety regulations
• Provide a planned and breakdown repair service on all complex engineering services associated with decontamination equipment
• Ensure adequate records are maintained
• Authorise the return to service of decontamination equipment after maintenance/validation

Person:

• Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship HNDC or OND/C + extensive experience as a Certified Decontamination Test Person
• Familiar with steam pressure systems
• Experience with computerised maintenance management systems
• Access to a vehicle with the ability to travel independently as required
