Castlefield Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading NHS organisation based in the North West that requires an experienced Human Resources Business Partner for a three month fixed term assignment commencing ASAP.

- Contract length: 3 months
- Equivalent salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum pro-rata
The organisation will be commencing both a voluntary and compulsory redundancy scheme and require an experienced HR professional to work with them, playing a key role in the consultation process. The post holder will have extensive experience of leading a consultation process on previous assignments and will possess detailed knowledge of compliance, employment law, redeployment and redundancy processes. You will have experience of working with trade unions and be a skilled stakeholder manager.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Provide strategic HR advisory and coaching support to senior leadership
- Partnered with business leaders to ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and best-practice standards
- Lead and manage complex organisational change initiatives, including redundancies, consultations and change programmes
- Deliver HR objectives aligned with organisational values and strategic priorities
- Consult on and deliver key change projects focused on redundancy and redeployment
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Champion employee engagement, wellbeing, and inclusive workplace practices
- Contribute to the development and execution of wider HR strategy
Key experience required:
- Expert level of redundancy consultation experience, including legislation, compliance and best practice
- Detailed understanding of the principles of change management and able to demonstrate a successful track record of major organisational change
- Knowledge of business planning, project management and risk management, and how those processes might be applied to organisational change
- Significant experience of facilitating and managing change
- Experience of HR management and change implementation in a unionised environment
- Experience of Trade Union consultation and negotiation
- Evidence of effective working at a senior level in large, complex environments
- Significant experience of facilitating and managing change and complex employee relations cases
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team and across systems
- Rigorous, good eye for detail
