Castlefield is proud to be partnering with a well-established Case Management company operating within the Medico‑Legal sector to recruit an experienced Case Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist team providing expert assessment and coordination of complex rehabilitation, health, and social care needs for clients who have sustained life‑changing injuries.

Role: Full Time Permanent (Part‑Time or associates will be considered)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Hybrid Working: You will be required to regularly visit clients across Birmingham and surrounding areas plus attend business meetings in the office.
Salary: Competitive subject to experience + excellent benefits

Role Overview
As a Case Manager, you will lead and coordinate the delivery of comprehensive rehabilitation and care plans for clients who have suffered significant injuries or illnesses. Working primarily within the personal injury and clinical negligence legal‑insurance context, you will ensure that each client receives tailored support that maximises independence and quality of life. This is a home‑based position; however regular travel within the Midland regions will be required for client visits, multidisciplinary meetings, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on the assessment, planning, and coordination of complex rehabilitation, health, and social care packages.
  • Monitor and review client progress, adjusting care plans as required to meet changing needs.
  • Ensure high standards of clinical and professional practice, maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
  • Produce comprehensive reports, including medical assessments, cost analyses, and progress evaluations for legal and insurance purposes.
  • Supervise and allocate cases effectively, maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date case records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, legal representatives, and clients’ families to achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in case management, managing complex care packages within the Medico‑Legal sector.
  • Minimum of 5 years post‑qualification in your clinical profession.
  • Current clinical registration (e.g., as a registered Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Nurse, Speech and Language Therapist or Social Worker).
  • Membership or registration (or working towards registration) with one or more of the following bodies: CMSUK, BABICM, or IRCM.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD), including attendance at relevant conferences and updates on new regulations.
  • Exceptional report writing and analytical skills, with the ability to produce detailed medical and cost reports.
