Overview
We’re looking for a driven and proactive Business Development Manager to support new business growth across the EMEA region. This role focuses on identifying, targeting, and engaging new prospects, building a strong pipeline through outbound activity and relationship development. This is primarily a “hunter” role, with responsibility for generating qualified leads, opening doors with target accounts, and contributing to revenue growth. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and have the opportunity to support opportunities through to conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business growth across EMEA by identifying and engaging high-value prospects
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline through structured outbound activity
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Re-engage previously identified opportunities and maximise warm leads
- Qualify and progress outbound opportunities, supporting conversion where required
- Deliver effective outreach campaigns using compelling messaging and sales materials
- Stay informed on market trends and sector developments to identify new opportunities
- Collaborate with marketing teams to support outreach and brand visibility
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and reporting using CRM systems
- Contribute to revenue targets through consistent pipeline development
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in business development or sales within a relevant sector (e.g. agency, events, brand experience, or similar)
- Strong track record of generating new business and achieving revenue targets
- Confident relationship builder with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
- Ability to articulate value propositions aligned to client needs
- Customer-focused approach with strong listening and qualification skills
- Self-motivated, commercially driven, and results-oriented
- Ability to work independently and maintain momentum in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and pipeline management
- Comfortable using standard business tools (e.g. Microsoft Office or Google Workspace)
- Awareness of AI tools and their application in sales and prospecting
