Role Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead the social strategy development across all client accounts, ensuring alignment with cultural trends and business goals.
  • Act as the senior social leader, cultivating strong relationships with clients and supporting new business pitches with compelling social-first ideas.
  • Stay ahead of platform changes, cultural shifts, and content formats to inform innovative social approaches.
  • Design clear, actionable social strategies rooted in platform mechanics and audience behaviour, ensuring cultural relevance.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the social and content teams, including managing freelance contributors, fostering creativity and high standards.
  • Balance creative, cultural, and performance-driven objectives, utilising both organic and paid social media tactics.
  • Manage budgets and costs for client projects, working closely with the management team to deliver efficient results.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive delivery of integrated campaigns, maximising social content ecosystems.
  • Oversee the creation of social-native content styles, formats, and creative solutions, ensuring originality and relevance for platforms.

About you:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ agency experience, particularly within integrated communications and social media roles.
  • A genuine passion and active engagement with cultural sectors such as music, fashion, sport, or food & drink.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing social teams and delivering innovative social-first campaigns for major clients.
  • Deep understanding of social platforms, formats, and cultural trends, with the ability to create compelling content strategies.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience in working towards financial targets and demonstrating results.
  • Excellent presentation, pitching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, people-first attitude with high standards, energy, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
