Castle Water are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Executive to help drive growth and expand our market presence in the water sector. In this role you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients and projects.
We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic, keen to forge a career and who have strong track record of success in business development and sales.

- Salary range from £25,000 to £30,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday hybrid working schedule, so your weekends are all yours and a combination of home and office working

What you’ll be doing
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes in the water sector.
- Analyse market data to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Generate leads and prospect potential clients in the water sector through networking, cold calling, and targeted outreach.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients in the water sector.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and feedback, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships and alliances with key stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and industry associations.
- Collaborate with partners to leverage complementary capabilities and drive mutual business growth.
- Identify new markets and regions for growth opportunities and establish Castle Water as a preferred partner.
- Monitor sales performance and track progress against targets. Prepare regular reports and forecasts to senior management on sales metrics, opportunities, and pipeline status.
- Lead the development of proposals, bids, and presentations for new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling proposals that meet client needs and differentiate Castle Water from competitors.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles within the water sector or related industries.
- An understanding of water resource management, environmental regulations, and industry dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
