We are looking for an Accounts Administrator to join our Accounts team in Ayr. This is a full-time, office based role focused on processing customer payments, handling customer account queries and processing refunds. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm and a proactive approach to the role. We’re looking for individuals who are confident, excel at problem-solving, and thrive when working independently.
Salary: £24,000 – £25,000 per annum

What you’ll be doing:
- Processing Customer Payments: Efficiently handle customer payments using Autorek and Sage 200, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Managing Customer Refunds: Process customer refunds using our CRM system, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Generating Customer Statements: Produce and send customer statements via our CRM.
- Processing Phone Payments: Take card payments securely over the phone.
- Ownership of Customer Queries: Take full responsibility for customer account queries, from initial contact to resolution, ensuring every issue is addressed proactively.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Previous experience in an accounts environment (or a similar role) is desirable, but a strong willingness to learn is equally valued.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Office 365.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with an eye for detail.
- Excellent time management abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and colleagues confidently and professionally.
