Experience is preferred, but training can be offered for the right candidate.

Duties:

  • Prepare, deliver and track high‑quality interventions under the direction of the SENCO and teaching staff.
  • Offer functional, literacy and numeracy skills in a range of settings including the classroom.
  • Provide pastoral support and inspire students.
  • Contribute to the school's teaching and learning programme.
  • Support the school in raising student aspirations, challenging student learning and engaging students in their own learning.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills supported by relevant qualifications.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Confidence in dealing with a wide range of people.
  • Understanding of child protection policies and procedures.
  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Disclosure & Barring Service Check (for all staff and volunteers).
  • References.
  • Childcare Disqualification Declaration Check (relevant Primary School posts only).
