Due to continued expansion, our client is looking to appoint a Senior Bookkeeper to be based in Inverness. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills and knowledge of Accounting in a professional office setting while gaining experience in multiple finance software systems.
Duties include:
- Bookkeeping and preparation of statutory client accounts.
- Reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Compilation and submission of VAT returns.
- Payroll and CIS filings.
- Liaising with clients.
- Updating and maintaining accurate client accounts records.
Person Specification:
- Previous accounts/bookkeeping experience is preferred.
- Applicants must have an aptitude for learning and the desire to progress a career within an accountancy & finance environment.
- Ability to operate effectively with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills including MS office and financial software systems.
