The role of Trainee HSE Advisor is to develop the knowledge, skills, and experience required to support the effective management of health, safety, and environmental performance across the business, assisting in ensuring compliance with statutory, customer, and corporate requirements. The Trainee HSE Advisor must successfully complete the required training courses/certification, to support in the overall delivery of business objectives through the aligning of deliverables to that of the Business Unit they are aligned to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support HSE advice, improvements, and compliance across sites.
  • Assist with audits, inspections, incident investigations, and reporting.
  • Help implement HSE plans and close out audit actions.
  • Maintain HSE data, systems, and documentation (risk assessments, COSHH, procedures).
  • Monitor HSE performance and support reporting.
  • Coordinate training and maintain accurate records.
  • Support hazard reporting systems and HSE meetings.

Person Specification:

We are looking for someone who is interested in starting a career in Health & Safety. You will have an inquisitive mind, be practical and willing to learn. You will need to be organised, proactive and a good communicator. Ideally you will have a basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel and Outlook. In return you will receive training to attain relevant Health & Safety qualifications. You must have the right to live and work in the UK without any Visa or Sponsorship requirements either now or in the future.
