Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Legal Secretary to join their team in Inverness. The successful applicant will undertake a busy and varied workload, working within a highly supportive team environment. Providing comprehensive secretarial support to Partners and Solicitors within the Commercial Team, specific duties include:
- Typing a range of correspondence and documentation containing legal terminology.
- Dealing with client enquiries face to face and by telephone.
- Diary management, co-ordinating and setting up meetings.
- Transcription of legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Dealing with email enquiries.
- Liaising with a range of internal and external contacts.
- Updating and managing client case files, opening and closing records accordingly.
- Administration and secretarial duties including preparation of various legal forms and templates.
- Filing, photocopying, scanning, and invoicing.
Person Specification
- Previous legal secretarial/administration experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and also manage a busy personal workload.
- Strong IT and administrative skills.
