Our client is looking to appoint an Installations Operative to be based in Inverness. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude, who can focus on giving great service to customers during the installation process.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Driving the company van for customer deliveries or collections, always ensuring a professional service to uphold the company’s reputation.
- Planning routes effectively to maximise the efficient delivery of customers' orders.
- Conduct client site surveys to ensure safe delivery and collection of equipment.
- Installation of equipment at client sites (training will be provided).
- Support the warehouse to ensure health & safety and that the working environment is always clean and tidy, and that waste packaging is removed and disposed of safely and in line with our sustainable focus.
- Building rapport with customers by being professional, helpful and flagging any concerns raised with other stakeholders across the business.
- Carry out other adhoc duties as required.
Person Specification:
- Previous experience within a delivery/installation role with a customer service focus preferred.
- Proven experience working in a workshop and warehouse setting preferred.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- A full, clean UK driving licence with experience of long-wheel based vans.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- A good level of IT literacy would be an advantage.
- An eye for detail, taking pride in your work and willing to go the extra mile to ensure quality.
- Good level of health & safety awareness.
