Depot Supervisor \n Type: Permanent \n Hours: Full Time (Tues - Fri 2pm - 10pm, Sat 9am - 5pm) \n Location: Inverness \n Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 \n Details: \n Our client is looking to appoint an experienced and proactive Depot Supervisor to support the safe, efficient and compliant day-to-day running of the depot operation. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for driver debriefs, vehicle checks, depot compliance, operational planning and ensuring that issues are identified and resolved quickly. \n Previous experience within transport, logistics, fleet or depot operations is highly desirable. An HGV licence would be a strong advantage . \n Review failed or delayed deliveries and identify any follow-up action required. \n Ensure all relevant paperwork and compliance checks are completed before the end of the shift. \n Feed operational information into the following day's planning. \n Carry out daily depot, yard and vehicle walk-around checks. \n Use transport management systems, including CODAS, to support planning and re-routing. \n Complete depot audits and gate checks. \n Prepare reports on driver performance using systems such as Webfleet and Vision. \n Support quarterly vehicle checks and inspections. \n Coordinate tyre inspections and accompany external operators where required. \n Provide holiday cover for the Day Supervisor and Depot Manager. \n Support the backshift operation and respond to operational issues where required. \n \n Person Specification: \n \n Experience within transport, logistics, fleet or depot operations. \n A good understanding of vehicle and depot compliance. \n Strong planning and organisational skills. \n Confidence working with operational data and preparing reports. \n Experience using transport management or route planning systems would be advantageous. \n An HGV licence is highly desirable. \n This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a practical, operational role and wants to take ownership of the smooth running of a busy depot. \n \n Benefits \n \n Cycle to work Scheme \n Employee Assistance Programme \n Employee Discount Hub \n Pension \n Private Health Care provided after qualifying period \n Employee Owned Trust become a member after qualifying period \n Free parking \n Health & wellbeing programme \n Profit sharing \n Sick pay \n \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
