Management Accountant in Highland, Nairn

Job Description Title: Management Accountant Type: Permanent Hours: Full Time Location: Highlands Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 Details: Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant for a unique opportunity to join their finance team in one of Scotlands most stunning locations. This is a permanent, full-time position and you will be responsible for supporting the growing Finance team in its day-to-day operations, whilst working with the Finance Manager to implement and maintain new systems and procedures. Duties include: \n \n Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations \n Supervise and mentor Finance Assistants, ensuring accuracy and timeliness \n Manage weekly supplier payment processes \n Identify and implement process and system improvements \n Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls \n Provide financial insight to support business decisions \n Post monthly journals and manage HMRC returns \n Assist with ad hoc projects and provide cover for the Finance Manager \n Person Specification: \n \n Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience \n Previous experience in a management accounting role \n Experience supervising a small finance team \n Strong technical skills, including Microsoft Excel and accounting software \n Excellent organisational and communication skills \n A proactive team player with a collaborative approach \n Salary and Benefits \n \n Salary range from £50-£60k depending on experience \n Company pension scheme \n Employee healthcare scheme \n Training and development opportunities \n Generous annual leave entitlement \n Discretionary annual bonus \n Staff Accommodation available \n \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
