Our client currently has an exciting career opportunity for an HR Administrator to join their team based in Inverness. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about HR to develop their career within a highly supportive environment offering ongoing professional development.

The purpose of the role is to provide generalist HR administration support to the team, helping the HR department to run efficiently, accurately and in a way that truly supports people.

  • Act as the first point of contact for general HR administration queries.
  • Assisting with recruitment including advertising of vacancies, response handling, arranging interviews and carrying out pre-employment checks.
  • Onboarding administration and inductions.
  • Maintain accurate HR systems and personnel files, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
  • Training administration including arranging venues, delegates and recording of results.
  • Typing of correspondence including contracts, offer letters and variations, starters, leavers and employee changes.
  • Assist with payroll administration including collation of hours, holiday pay, maternity pay etc.
  • Maintain and update HR templates, forms and documentation.
  • Assist with HR reporting and data preparation.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Advisor on employee relations cases as required.
  • Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience working in a similar HR Administration role is preferred. Strong administration skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Keen to learn and progress a career within human resources.
