Our client is looking to appoint a reliable and organised Accounts Assistant to join their team based in Inverness. Working within a small, family run business, the successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking a varied workload in a fast-paced role, ideal for someone with excellent organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and reconciling sales and purchase invoices.
- Carrying out additional account reconciliations.
- Updating and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Daily use of Quickbooks and MS Office software as well as an in house database.
- Operating with accuracy and attention to detail in all record keeping.
- Diary management, scheduling, and booking appointments.
- Managing customer accounts and dealing with all related queries.
- Answering enquiries by telephone and email.
- Dealing with colleagues, customers and other contacts in a professional manner.
The Ideal Candidate will have
- Previous experience in a similar administration or accounts-based role.
- Experience in a commercial office environment preferred but not essential.
- Strong IT skills including financial software systems.
- Strong organisational skills and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
