Title: Factory Supervisor Type: Permanent Hours: Full Time Location: Inverness Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 Details: Our client is looking to appoint an experienced and results-driven Factory Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. You will lead a production team, ensure safety compliance, and maintain high quality standards to meet daily output targets. This is a varied role and duties include: Lead Operations: Direct daily workflow, assign tasks, and monitor assembly line targets. Oversee staff, covering training and inductions.
Rata management/shift scheduling and carrying out performance evaluations. Ensure staff compliance with health & safety regulations and best practice, logging and reporting any incidents through appropriate channels. Carrying out inspections and reviews to identify any product defects prior to delivery. Coordinate with maintenance to ensure machinery is running efficiently. Implement Lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste. Stock monitoring and replenishment.
Liaising with various internal departments to ensure efficient storing and delivery of products. Document daily output and inventory usage. Person Specification: 3+ years of supervisory experience in a factory/warehouse environment. Familiarity with stores/inventory management software. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate others. Excellent organisational skills. Accuracy and attention to detail. A desire to provide the best possible service to customers through efficient despatch of products. Strong team-building skills. Physical capability - ability to stand for extended periods and carry out lifting duties. Forklift licence preferred.
