We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our clients expanding team based near Alness. The successful candidate will ensure accuracy in all financial transactions and reconciliations as well as overseeing precise financial record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing and reconciliation of sales and purchase ledger.
  • Daily bank reconciliations.
  • Liaising with suppliers to resolve invoice queries.
  • Processing online payments.
  • Maintaining accurate cashbooks.
  • Petty cash and credit card reconciliation.
  • Billing clients and reconciling client accounts.
  • Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies.
  • Producing aged debtor reports.
  • Supporting month-end and year-end processes.
  • Updating and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Daily use of MS Office as well as in-house financial software systems.
Person Specification:
  • Previous experience in an accounts/bookkeeping role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting processes and best practice.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
