Castle Farm Vets are recruiting for a Farm Veterinary Technician to assist with an increased work load during the sheep advanced breeding season (August – October).
The role will mainly involve physical sheep handling, washing down and cleaning and maintaining equipment as well as a small amount of lab work and administering medicines under supervision.
Experience of sheep handling and a knowledge of the industry would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given. This role will involve working long hours in a close knit team at the peak of the season.
