Our technology is proprietary, allowing us to respond to the economic and retailer environments. The loans we offer aim to improve customers’ lives and support our retailer partners. We work with some of the biggest national brands across many sectors, engaging with in excess of 2,000 retailers.
We are in the market for a credible Senior Business Development Manager to join our commercial team where you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the growth of our retail finance offering. We aim to grow sustainably with funding readily available to support expansion, so we seek someone well connected in the industry with gravitas and credibility of a high performer with a proven track record of selling into retailers. Our customer net promoter scores and internal engagement results place us ahead of many competitors, making this an attractive proposition. We are searching for a thought-leader who can influence and drive change. This is a home-based opportunity; however, you will need to work from the London office at least once a week and our Basingstoke office once every 4–6 weeks.
What We Are Looking For In You… What is important to us is a proven background in sales/new business development with a natural flair and desire to deliver results, building long-lasting relationships with customers and colleagues. If you have operated in the point of sale or retail finance space that would be advantageous, but we are open to individuals from a broader regulated sales environment (such as Payments, PSP, EPOS, merchant acquirers) with a required level of risk knowledge. Experience in home, lifestyle, jewellery, sporting goods, consumer electronics or home improvements would be highly advantageous. You should thrive in a KPI-driven environment with a proven ability to develop business within a targeted market sector and have negotiated deals with large corporations and SMEs. Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to adapt style to the audience, are essential.
