Our Data & Analytics team is part of the Technology function of Castle Trust Bank and aims to provide data and insights to internal and external customers using the latest Microsoft tools. The role involves working with the Head of Data, the rest of the data team and broader Technology team to deliver data and insights to support business change initiatives as well as to educate super users on the use of data solutions. You will be proficient in partnering with business teams to support data-driven insights for business performance or regulatory reporting/requirements. It would be advantageous if you have some knowledge of MS Azure Modern Data Warehouse Architecture and Agile methodology in addition to possessing knowledge and experience of writing SQL queries.

What is equally important is that you are highly numerate and analytical with an ability to deliver high standards of work and pay meticulous attention to detail. Your problem‑solving skills will be strong in addition to possessing excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Data and the data team to deliver data and insights to support business change initiatives.
  • Educate super users on the use of data solutions and best practices.
  • Document and improve model designs and become an acknowledged expert in the company’s data.

Whats in it for you:

As well as a competitive salary (guide salary to £45,000 depending on skills and experience) we offer an annual performance related bonus, a generous contributory pension scheme through Hargreaves Lansdown, life assurance, 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays on top) with the option to buy/sell up to 5 additional days (terms apply), and an extra day paid annual leave for volunteering.
