Due to multiple project wins this year, we are now seeking an experienced Underground Utility Surveyor to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable professional to take ownership of projects from start to finish — delivering accurate, high-quality utility surveys that support design, construction, and service strike avoidance. You’ll be responsible for independently carrying out surveys, collecting field data using EML and GPR methods, processing results, and producing final deliverables for our clients using CAD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake PAS128-compliant underground utility surveys using EML and GPR
  • Operate GNSS and total station instruments for accurate positioning and mapping
  • Interpret data and process survey results to produce precise CAD drawings
  • Manage projects independently, from initial site work through to final deliverable
  • Maintain robust QA/QC standards with strong attention to detail
  • Adhere to company and client health & safety protocols
  • Liaise professionally with clients and team members to ensure successful outcomes
About You
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in underground utility surveying
  • Proven ability to deliver independent surveys and final CAD drawings
  • Skilled in EML, GPR, GNSS, and total station operation
  • Excellent technical understanding and commitment to quality
  • Reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented
  • Full UK driving licence essential
